Terms of service
1. What Keyguard is
Keyguard is a licensing and access-control platform. It issues keys, binds seats, authenticates users, and delivers files you upload. It is a tool for vendors who sell software. It is not a packer, not an anti-tamper engine, and not a promise that a binary cannot be reverse-engineered.
2. No guarantee against cracks
No licensing product can make software uncrackable. Attackers can dump memory, patch clients, leak keys, or bypass checks you place in your own code. Keyguard does not warrant that your application will never be cracked, reverse-engineered, pirated, or otherwise compromised.
You choose how you integrate the client, what you put in the binary, and what extra hardening you apply. Those choices, and their outcomes, are yours.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep seller keys, dashboard tokens, and mail credentials out of products you ship.
- Configure HWID, bans, files, and webhooks correctly for your threat model.
- Stay responsible for your end users, your product, and any action they take with it — including bans, account loss, or breaches of third-party rules.
- Do not use Keyguard to distribute malware, steal accounts, or violate applicable law.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keyguard and its operators are not liable for:
- Losses from your software being cracked, leaked, redistributed, or bypassed.
- Damage from a wrong, incomplete, or insecure integration of Keyguard.
- What your customers do with your software, or disputes between you and them.
- Outages, delayed email, or third-party services (CDN, mail, DNS) outside our reasonable control.
You use Keyguard at your own risk. You remain fully responsible for your project and its users. If a jurisdiction does not allow some exclusions, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, or fifty euros, whichever is greater.
5. Paid plans and refunds
The Starter plan is free and has no refund. Paid Pro and Enterprise charges follow the Refund policy.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the service and close the account.
